After watching this video we feel like a couple of tweaked-out, Log Cabin, Republican Congressmen after leaving a gay night-club to drive home drunk to our sleeping wife and kids. Try and make sense of that while making sense of this video. Is your mind blown?

This video is notable for being nicely shot on the Canon 7D, nicely edited with overlapping opacity layers and for all being done by Hybrid's very own Mike Truman.

When we close our eyes and listen to electronic music this video by Beeple is exactly how we would imagine it is made.

Ok Go just upped their own anty on one-off videos by building a massive Rube Goldberg machine... and paying for it with corporate sponsorship. The video, directed by James Frost (noted for his Radiohead "House of Cards" video), was shot in an Echo Park warehouse and reportedly took 60 takes to get a perfect cycle. On a side note: We would love to see a foundation like Canada's MuchFACT created in the US to support the future of music video. We think it's an important aspect of promotion for new and established acts, as well as for the development of emerging directors, that should not die with the demise of MTV. This video, and the rapid-fire transmission of it around the Internet, proves the importance of the medium. We hope State Farm Insurance and other sponsors would see the importance of establishing such a foundation.

A nice hand-drawn animation for a change. The song "Your Car" is about an old Honda Civic Leslie Early drove in high school. "It was red, had no air conditioning, and only a radio/cassette deck."

Ever had a dream where no matter how hard you scream no sound comes out? The new Liars video from director Andy Bruntel elicits these same feelings in the viewer. Stick it out to the very end and wait to see if you open your eyes in time.

Absentee parents, creepy man snooping on twinkster boy, strangely Satanic television broadcasting hypnotic messages... The Casiokids new video "En Vill Hest" could be seen as a loosely, metrosexual take on Donnie Darko. That sounds weird to say so see for yourself.

It's time to lend our support to the Afrikaan's sensation Die Antwoord that are sweeping the interwebs. A certain amount is being made about the band's image, more specifically the manufactured nature. And we say "FUCK THAT!" The lead vocalist Watkin Tudor Jones is nothing less than a method-acting genius. His stage persona Ninja has some serious gansta skill, when supported with backups from Yo-Landi Vi$$er and next level beats from DJ Hi-Tek, combines into some serious next-level performance art. And it makes us proud as well to see DJ Hi-Tek sporting (what we think is) a KC Chief's jersey. It's good to know that white trash aren't just an American phenomenon. Brits have their Chavs, South Afrikaan's have their Zef. Go ninja, go ninja, GO!
If you're like us and can't get enough, check out this .

Although we usually hate split screen videos this does it in a very clever manner. But it sort of feels like the French version of Coldplay's Maybe that was unfair or maybe it's because the track itself does sound like COLDPLAY! Not to take anything away from the directors though, it was beautifully shot and the split sceen goes without a hitch. We don't typically post ripomatic videos but maybe it's the novelty of the retro, Japanese electronics ads that make this video really appealing to this westerner's eye. It's also edited quite nicely. Have a look.
