This video for Young Loves shows the journey of three friends on a transformative dreamquest, under the effects of drugs and/or supernatural beings, that mentally transports them into a new dimension. It's a cool, gritty tune that fits the vibe perfectly.

Director Romain Gavras who made the epic Justice "Stress" video creates another bit of the ultraviolence in this new video for M.I.A.'s "Born Free." It's set in an alternate reality where Gingers are round up and massacred for sport by militarized police forces who enjoy the sweet-smelling fear emanating from their pale, white skin.*
*Obvious references include Palestine, Darfur, and every other modern genocide we here in the West casually ignore.

The new video for Music Go Music is a funny narrative about the backstage antics of the under-talented but overly-eager performers of a community theatre troupe. It's a funny, sort of Wes Anderson style video from Directors David and Meredith Metcalf, produced by Team G.

Knowing that Eric Wareheim had directed this video we expected the same brand of humor that made him a household name among fan's of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. But this video shows a darker sensibility and still has that fun, kitschy feel that makes us bloodlust for good slasher films. So when are we going to see a horror film Eric?

Directors Krozm apply a split-scan technique to displace time in this moody video for the Midnight Juggernauts. Although the technique dates back to videos from the 1980's and film experiments before that, Krozm has used it well as a filmic texture rather than as a one-off gimmick. The addition of the spinning light installation was a very nice directorial choice, and adds to the overall effect.

From the director that brought us the Grizzly Bear "Two Week" fan video comes a new video for Bluebrain "Ten by Ten." Gabe Askew lapped himself on this one, it's a very impressive follow-up video. Additional modeling, shading, and rigging by Austin Hernandez and James Atilano.
